Pot farm stretched a mile along ravine in Wallowa county!

A marijuana growing operation that stretched about a mile in a remote ravine in the northeast corner of Oregon may turn out to be the largest ever shut down in the state.
Oregon State Police said Friday a raid in Wallowa County found more than 91,000 plants in a ravine with extensive terracing. Miles of plastic irrigation tubing lined the area, and authorities found weapons, food and supplies at campsites that could support growers for weeks.
Sgt. John Shaul of the La Grande police department describes the outdoor growing operation as "staggering," with plants concealed in several separate pods developed by removing trees and underbrush to camouflage the site.
Six men were arrested.

What upsets me the most about people who set up operations like this, is that they are slowly destroying our beautiful forests.
We as Oregonians deal with a lot of rainy days and the grey gloom, so that we may all enjoy the beautiful green the rain affords us. Now that is under attack, illegal immigrants come here destroy our forests to grow drugs that fuel the war against medical marijuana. I have a medical card because this medicine helps me tremendously but, also because I want to show that there are many of us out there that don't want to be breaking the law! Now all those who feel as I do need to join me in standing up against these pot terrorists!
